Wordless Wednesday: Autumn High

by Twitchy on April 10, 2012

I love Autumn so much, I get high on its beauty and climate. I’m an Autumn baby.

Today I took my babygirl, Miss5, to a gorgeous leafy park to suck in the nature.

“Why do you love trees so much, Mummy?” I didn’t tell her, I showed her. We climbed, we examined, we collected.

By the end of our magical afternoon, I asked her if she still wanted an answer. Indeed, she already knew.

Linked with My Little Drummer Boys for Wordless Wednesday.

Gorgeous, gorgeous photos… and it’s been far too long since I saw an oak tree. What a lovely way to spend a day with your daughter.

Thank you Seana, I know you’d appreciate this, given your work with parks of interest- this one is so special I think it may have the last climbing rocket in Melbourne still in use. Such a magical secret.

Great photos and you can see how much fun you had. How awesome is that tree in the last photos! Totally cool and twisted. :) xx

Sonia- do you follow me on Instagram? I took a photo of my little fairy crouching on the roots of that tree where we found a collection of crabapples(?) at its base. I don’t post full face shots of my kids on here- but that shot is so special, I LOVE it. Thank you!

Can I tell you- so glad I took lots of shots. It was one of those special afternoons with a small child, where everything is so perfect and she is so sweet, you never want to forget it.

OoOOO, love autumn leaves! Here in Brisbane, QLD, the trees don’t usually turn in such a spectacular fashion.

I cannot wait to see a European Forest again. Only ever did it as a kid and can’t really remember. But have you seen some of those award winning photo montages? Oh my- they steal my breath away. Not just reds and greens and golds, but purples too.

I think the place you live in is exactly right for you, Autumn Baby… Love the pics… and the fact that Miss 5 loves this too. Denyse

You are right. Except that where I live, asthma and allergies are also high :( BUT not in Lovely Autumn. My sensitive skin never looks better or feels happier than right now xx
