Back to Dancing

by Twitchy on February 6, 2013

The new tap shoes did not come off all evening since their purchase. Thankfully, she had not insisted on sleeping in them. They went back on first thing in the morning with the polka-dot pyjamas  to limber up at the mantelpiece.

If you read my previous post, you’ll already know it did not exactly go to plan and she in fact never set foot inside the class studio for the entire lesson 🙁 Better luck this week, I hope.

I hope she finds her dancing feet again.

Thank you, so do I, T. She doesn’t like transitions or change at all! She’ll come around. x

I love her hair! I hope she will get back into it this week. Always loved tap dance!

Thanks. The class is a divine little bunch of 5-7yo fairies and ballerinas. Divine! I so wish I could take a picture of them, but I never would of course.

Are they as noisy as they’re made out to be? Good luck for this week 🙂

You can’t really hear them much because they play the music so loud! But we sit outside the room, anyway.

I hope it all goes well this week !! I always wanted to do tap but I never got to dance anything – probably because I have always been very un-coordinated and was a little heffalump !!
Have a great day !

Oh- I am scarred from 5yo ballet. After a few weeks my mother was advised (slightly differently) not to waste any more money on the class heffalump. Which was oh yes, me.

I used to do this with my pointe shoes for ballet – particularly with my first pair. It’s all very exciting 🙂

Oh- she wanted THOSE too, when she spied them in the shop. I mean- a WALL of dance shoes!!

I hope she gets in next time!! Same as my daughter and her swimming lessons.. she clings on to the teacher and refuses to swim 🙁

Oh Love! I hope she doesn’t shout the place down as well. All the best to the two of you with it!
